Julian gets all environmental and hates cars, nuclear power stations and concrete in general. He does seem to be realistic about it all though, which is a nice change from your normal, everyday whining 'green' pop tosh, which artists seem to forget are pressed in their millions on plastic, shipped around the world using whatever fuel, and played on electricity sucking equipment. To quote JC - 'there ain't no getting round getting round'.
Rant over. I want to save the planet as much as the next man. I pull the labels off me tin cans before washing out the gunk, crushing them, and tripping over them for two weeks until they're picked up.
On the whole a decent album. Musically all over the place but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Gentle acoustic to Chrome to Krautrock.
He's done a lot worse.
