Disk 1 - Songs with words. I really don't remember BOS being dull shit, but there we are. This is easily the most arduous disk so far. Is that the least interesting drummer I've ever heard?
This does at least start with Hope Against Hope, which I'm now of the opinion is the only listenable BOS song ever recorded. I played this live once in a band called Bambi, formed with NF and RH to play a one-off gig supporting The Gideon at the Cumberland Arms, Newcastle way back in the very early 90s.
Disk 2 - Songs without words. Total racket. Big thumbs down for Robert Poss & co, apart from their nice collection of guitars. I played one of Robert's old guitars in FT's flat in London many years ago. Very nice, those simple early G&Ls.

Wow. In one review you cut short any interest in browsing the rest of your site. Describing BOS as "total racket" means that you have little or no affinity for loud guitars are even Sonic Youth. Band of Susans were a phenomenally powerful group of sonic terrorists. Not liking them is one thing; dismissing them completly, on a best of compilation no less, makes me want to sneer at you and your dad rock tendencies.

I just got back from ATP nightmare before xmas where i merrily moshed the weekend away to MBV (loud, noisy guitars), witch (loud, noisy guitars), a place to bury strangers (loud, noisy guitars), sonic youth (loud, noisy guitars), no age (loud, noisy guitars), lightning bolt (loud, noisy bass). the list goes on. band of susans were simply of their time and sound it. it hasn't aged well, like a lot of stuff from around the same time. now fuck off. your sneers fail to make my heart weep.
oh, and i assume you only came across the post as you were searching for an illegal download of said album. hey shit-dick, i own all this stuff. now fuck off again, and come back when i start to do the vinyl. cock.
