The Beatles - The Beatles (The White Album)

CDS 7 46443 8. 1968 (1990)

For me, they could have made this a single album and left a lot of this on the studio floor. I don't like the stupid shit (Piggies, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da) or the straight foward rock and roll (Back in the USSR, Why don't we do it in the road?).

However, the good stuff is, well... good.

This is first time I've listened to this since hearing DJ Dangermouse's Grey Album, so some of the songs sound a bit weird without Jay-Z banging on over the top.

Highlights: While my guitar gently weeps, Helter Skelter
