Mike Cooper - Metal Box

Dedicated to the memory of John Fahey, though I'm not sure he'd be into this.

Mike plucks, scrapes, drags and twangs various sounds from a national steel resonator guitar, then treat them with this and that to construct these six 'post digital primitivist' compositions.

Could be described as difficult music. Certainly a bit more of an effort than the first disc of his I was lucky enough to come across - Rayon Hula (see above, when I get to it, probably next, don't know, didn't check when I picked this off the shelf).

Interesting. Not one for parties.
