Though some elements of this are painfully bad (ooh, the guitars on the first track, Deadlock, sound like a barrel full very hungry cats), they're more than made up for by some essential Can classics.
Where would we be without Tango Whiskyman, Don't turn the light on leave me alone, Soul desert (with Malcolm Mooney rather than Damo Suzuki doing vocal honors), and the hypnotic, influential Mother Sky.
Stick it on the list with Ege and Tago as must-haves.
