The Hard-Ons - All set to go / Ferdi's song 7"

Waterfront DAMP47. 1987

A fine slice of antipodean punk.

This was another Volume Records random recommendation purchase. It was midweek, I was on my lunch break and wandered in. I asked LC what was new and interesting and he played me this. I think I asked if there was a new Hard-Ons record out every week after that for ages.

Saw them a few months ago at Trillians, Newcastle. They were ok, but a bit more 'metal' than I'd hoped, and Keish isn't the drummer anymore (though that could have happened 15 years ago for all I know). I think I saw them at Newcastle Riverside in the early 90s. The memory isn't what it used to be though.

'There isn't a chick that he won't screw - it's enough to make you spew'
